Regenerative Agriculture

Did you know Regenerative Agriculture can sequester carbon into the soil and help fight climate change?

Farmers are working on sequestering carbon into the soil and building a more fertile , healthy future for our farm through regenerative practices.

Benefits of Regenerative Agriculture:

Regenerative Agriculture is built on 5 principles:

  1. Keep the soil surface covered (Cover crops, mulch cover, etc)

  2. Try to limit the amount of physical and chemical disturbance of the soil as much as possible (Also known as No Till/ No Dig)

  3. Increased Biodiversity

  4. Keeping roots living below the soil (Perennial systems)

  5. Integrate grazing livestock into the system (Rotational Grazing)
